Gintautas Deksnys of Lithuania has held the fourth personal exhibition "Talking Bookmarks", operating in the premises of the Plutiškiu branch of Kazlų Rūda's Jurgis Dovydaitis Library. Gintautas Deksnys of Lithuania is organizing a first time exhibition of bookmarks called "Talking Book Tabs" in November. Here are some of the framed works he will display. 18 November 2023 Update 14 December 2023: From the solo exhibitions "Talking Book Tabs: the exhibition catalog and several photos from the public exhibitions in Lithuania. These exhibitions were so popular that he already has another scheduled for 2024. Update: 22 January 2024: Photos from the third exhibition in Ąžuolų Būda (Lithuanis village), and a newspaper article about participation.
Thanks to his efforts in developing a reading culture and promoting the importance of bookmarks, many residents in Lithuania will learn about book tabs, their history, use and modern approach. Gintautas uses 2 sets of exhibition works with which he organizes exhibitions, their presentations and lectures.

We welcome all individuals with an interest in bookmarks to join us, independent of their nationality, ethnicity, religious and political views. However, we cannot tolerate any religious or political activities in our community because we believe that this will lead inevitably to the discrimination of some of our members. To this end, applications using email addresses from organisations with a religious or political character will not be accepted. Please use your private email address instead for the membership application and for your communications within the IFOB community. |
