On Marking Books Redux

From 2006-2012, the book related web site BiblioBuffet had a column called "On Marking Books", featuring essays on bookmarks by founder and editor Lauren Roberts and contributor Laine Farley.  This section offers revised and updated versions of some of Laine's columns.  Longer than most blog posts but not as extensive as IFOB publications, these essays focus on how bookmarks can help us learn about local history, lead us to fascinating stories, and help us appreciate the varied beauty and utility of bookmarks.
